The bus drops at the arrivals kerb outside Door 2 at the south end of the Main Terminal baggage claim. Follow signs up one level to Departures and the check-in halls. International departures use the South Satellite exclusively; domestic gates are spread across the remaining concourses.

Security queues vary by time of day. International morning departures between 5 am and 9 am are typically the busiest. TSA PreCheck and CLEAR lanes move significantly faster for enrolled travellers. Airlines generally recommend arriving at least three hours before international departures and two hours before domestic ones.

Once through security, SEA-TAC operates a single terminal with six concourses (A, B, C, D, N, and S) connected by an internal train system. The South Satellite handles all international departures. Domestic gates are spread across the north and south concourses, so check your boarding pass for the specific gate and concourse before heading through. The internal train is free and runs frequently; budget five to ten minutes for the connection if your gate is on the far side of the terminal.

Food and retail options are available on both sides of security. If you have time before your flight, the central terminal area between the concourses has the widest range of options. The airport has reliable Wi-Fi throughout and charging points at most gate areas.
