FlixBus Launches First-Ever Direct Route Connecting NYC to Miami

NEW YORK (August 13, 2026) – FlixBus, North America’s fastest-growing intercity bus service, is expanding its presence on the East Coast with the launch of a new route starting August 13, 2026, establishing the brand’s first-ever direct connection between NYC and Miami.
Operating five days a week and operated by local carrier, La Cubana Xpress, the new service offers a convenient, affordable way to travel between New York City and Miami. Spanning more than 1,200 miles, the route provides direct service with stops in Orlando, Raleigh, Richmond and Washington, D.C., eliminating transfers and making long-distance travel simpler. Whether traveling for school, business, vacations or to visit family and friends, passengers can enjoy a seamless journey between major destinations along the route.
As intercity bus travel continues to grow nationwide, the new route reflects FlixBus' ongoing investment in expanding its network to meet rising demand and connect more communities with reliable transportation.
