FlixBus Adds First-Ever Direct Dallas–Nashville Route, Strengthens Connections Between Texas and Tennessee

DALLAS (August 12, 2026) –  FlixBus, North America's fastest-growing intercity bus service, is expanding service across the South with the launch of its first-ever direct route between Dallas and Nashville, followed by the return of direct service between Houston and Memphis.

As intercity bus travel continues to grow nationwide, these new routes strengthen FlixBus' growing network, making it easier for travelers to connect between major business, entertainment, and cultural destinations while providing access to smaller communities along the way.

Starting this month, FlixBus will launch service on the following express routes: 

Dallas– Nashville (Launching August 13, 2026) 

A major addition to the FlixBus network launching August 13, this new direct route will provide an affordable and comfortable travel option between Dallas and Nashville, two in-demand destinations in the FlixBus network. This new service, operating five days a week, strengthens regional connectivity. Direct access will also be available to additional travel hubs including Memphis, Texarkana, and Sulphur Springs.

Houston – New Orleans - Memphis (Launching August 27, 2026) 

Starting August 27, FlixBus is relaunching its direct service between Houston and Memphis, restoring a popular connection for travelers in the South. The route will operate five days a week, with daily service during the busy Thanksgiving travel period to accommodate increased holiday demand. Along the way, passengers will also have access to convenient connections to destinations including Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and Hattiesburg.
